Healthy Hot Cocoa
Ingredients

1 cup light coconut milk

1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk, such as almond, oat, rice, or soy milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

2 Tbsp pure maple syrup or honey

2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

sea salt to taste

Directions

Add all ingredients to a small pot and place over medium-low heat.

Whisk vigorously to combine and remove any lumps of cocoa. DO NOT let the hot chocolate boil. Simply warm in the pot until steamy, about 3-5 minutes.
